I just discovered this part of the forum, I think I previously shared in the wrong forum(ooops!!!)

I know it is still early in the month but let's jump in and share our experiences and timelines

I posted my AOS package (I-130, I-485 and I-765) on Friday and according to the USPS website, it has been signed for in Chicago!!!

Now I just have to pray that I never made any mistakes...... :unsure:

11-09: Met in Vietnam, backpacked then lived together in Oz

09-26-10: Came to the US

11-19-10: Got married

12-10-10 (Day 0): Posted package (I-130, I-485 and I-765)

12-12-10 (Day 2): Package received

12-17-10 (Day 7): Received text and email confirmation, and checks cashed

12-20-10 (Day 10: NOA1 hard copy received

02-28-11 (Day 80): Biometrics letter received FINALLY!

03-01-11 (Day 81): Successful biometrics walk-in

03-02-11 (Day 82): Card production ordered!

03-12-11 (Day 92): EAD card received

03-16-11 (Day 96): Notification of interview scheduled for April 15!!!!!

04-15-11 (Day 126): Interview-Greencard approved!!!!!

I keep going in my mind over everything in that package wondering if I made any mistakes too and hoping I didn't

03/04/2011: EAD and AP combo card in hand.
04/21/2011: AOS Interview at Norfolk local office. APPROVED & Card production ordered!
04/25/2011: Welcome to the US letter received in mail.
05/02/2011: Green Card arrives in mail!

I just received 6 text messages confirming they received my application and that the hard copy is on the way

yeah its absolutely normal.Mine was too.

Btw looks like the December filers got news from them earlier than the November filers

11/12/10:Get married

11/19/10: I-693 sealed.It means my chest x ray is fine :)

11/20/10: Package [ I-130,I-485,I-765] sent to Lockbox

11/22/10 [Day 1]: Delivered there

11/29/10 [Day 7]: Return receipt from USPS

12/13/10 [Day 21]: Texts and email received [ after 21 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!]

12/16/10 [Day 24]: Snail copy received

12/18/10 [Day 26]: Every single form touched

12/20/10 [Day 28]: Biometrics letter received

1/13/11 [Day 51]: Biometrics done

1/24/11 [Day 62]: Biometrcis appointment received AGAIN.!!!!!!!!!I was like #######

2/04/11 [Day 72]: Second biometrics done

2/15/11 [Day 83]: EAD in production.

2/18/11 [Day 86]: Interview letter received, set for March 21

2/22/11 [Day 90]: EAD mailed out.

2/25/11 [Day 93]: EAD received

3/21/11 [Day 118]: Interview but left with no decision ToT

3/31/11 [Day 128]: RFE regarding police clearance

4/13/11 [Day 141]: RFE sent

4/19/11 [Day 147]: Card in production

4/22/11 [Day 150]: Welcome2USA letter received

It took 5 stressful months exactly.

Yes our timelines so far match!!!

I didn't get an email, don't know why. But got text messages instead and nothing about transferring to the NBC. Waiting to see what the hard copy says

I set up my online profile yesterday to check, and it has the "last updated" date as yesterdays date. I went in and checked again today, and it had todays date....are these "touches" or does it just reference the current date?

From what I understand those are "touches", but it is usually not a big deal, especially in this initial review stage, as it could just mean that the person taking care of your application is scanning the bar code before they review it. Could be mistaken, but I read that here on these forums over and over.

I noticed the same thing with me and just came the conclusion that it could just be an indication that they mailed the hard copy of the NOA 1

Hi! I also filed this month. However I had to file the i130 alone in our circumstance. It was received at the Chicago lockbox on Dec 20. I received the text and email confirmation on Dec 22, which I thought was kind of quick! My package was then sent to California processing center!
