Meeting in person within the last 2 years is all that is required.

Some consulates like to see more meetings. What country are you from?

Same thing happened with me...what my fiancee and I did, is when he went out to visit me he took all the forms that I need to fill out and needs to be signed so that when he gets back to the States that he can file for our K1 visa. In my case we don't need to go to the US embassy in Manila because he needs to file it first in the States. So that's all we did! gather as many pictures of the two of you and with relatives as much as possible ;) that's all he can do while he's visiting you. Oh and don't forget to keep all the tickets, boarding pass and receipts of the hotel...it will be useful in the future ;) GOOD LUCK TO US :)

Yes four days is plenty of time to prove you have met in person.

The first step for everyone s to file a petition in the US. You will go to the consulate in Manila for the second part, the visa interview.

Meeting for four days, or for four minutes, is enough to qualify to get an approved petition, but that is not an approved VISA. Each consulate is different and some want to see more meetings in person in order to approve a VISA, and that is the goal.
