Maybe everybody start contacting your Congressman an Senator's maybe that will ruffle their

feathers and get on the ball to get these CR-1 Visa done.

I placed a release letter to Senator Barbara Boxer in Ca.

TO expedite my Case at USCIS now waiting for reply to get things going.

You have a rigth to have either contact them to inquire abour your CR-1

They will take the time to contact them.

Maybe if everybody did the same it will get them going.

Sure cant hurt trying better than sitting doing nothing

Its your choice to sit and wait longer or get some thing done.

It dont hurt your paying your tax dollars for them to do their work in Government.

Well, I contacted all 3 at same the same day. Both CA senator and congressman offices said me to wait 2-3 weeks for them to decide whether to help me or not. ridiculus at some point because I read other people get help within a week (ofcourse they are not in CA). I hope we get help from our senators and congressman and get out of this mess.

Let me know, how much they suggest you to wait before giving you any word?

I hear from other VJ members and they are telling us that, it doesn't help any to contact your Congressman.I am planning to contact my Congressman, when I go over the time frame, which is another month.

Are the transfers from the CSC to the TSC causing confirmed delays then?

If this is the case, USCIS should really be obliged to expedite, since they are responsible for the delay. However, unless it caused a large delay to your petition, I don't see people getting granted expedites. Expedited cases are usually only for extreme cases where spouses need to be together sooner and you must satisfy the expedite criteria.

so anybody from CSC to TSC starts a new 180 days

so have all the July files of NOA-1 been approved yet or

at all from TSC ? Anybody with a NOA-1 of before July 10th

If your past the 5 months ask TSC why your not approved yet ? ? ?

and see if they tell you have been delayed longer ?

Anyway Good Luck

Let start hearing from the July 1st to Juoly 10th filers

who have approved from TSC..

The only "harm" in having so many congressional inquiries is the USCIS and NVC will spend more time replying to those requests than processing forms. I firmly believe there is a time and place for congressional inquiry. If you want to work on getting the system more streamlined then inundate your elected leaders with letters and calls about this, go to town hall meetings and bring this to their attention. I believe this is a much more effective way of change.

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

Our NOA 1 is July 1 and have heard nothing yet =/

Its been 5 months...you should be able to ask why you CR-1 delayed

and whats the hold up. Also write your Senater or congressman

get them behind you. 2 more weeks you will be six months.

Have you been touched at all?

Good Luck.

Not since the 29th of Nov and that was like one every day for 4 days. Called got robot saying 180 days after transfer but was gonna wait for 6 month mark to do anything tbh. Me and the wife are doing fine and have waited this long already no need to freak out yet it is the US govt which is pretty much slow at everything they do lol.
