It seems to take anywhere from 5-50 calls just to get to the automated voice system, and then 15-30 minutes on hold if you want to talk to an actual person. Apparently this is normal, ha ha. On the bright side, they have operators working until midnight (eastern time). I called the other night at 11:40pm and was on hold for 20+ minutes. I was curious to see whether or not they would just stop working, all go home, and leave me hanging on hold, but someone did pick up around 12:05am!

KIKAPOO,

how were you able to pay the AOS fee so quick,

NVC recieved my case on 12/3 but no AOS bill yet

NVC received my case on 12/06, and they generated a case # and IIN on 12/09. When I used those to log into the payment portal on the NVC site, the AOS fee was there! It let me pay it, so I did...I just hope I didn't screw up and pay it too early, as I haven't gotten an email from them yet... :-/

Question is it wrong to call the NVC to get tehe IIN# or should I wait until they mail it to me... I just don't want to slow my process down if I send things before they are requested, but I do want get thing going... help anyone

It will not hurt to keep calling NVC. Once you have your IIN and your fees are available to be paid you will be on your way!

So does that mean that if the fee is there and available to be paid, I can go ahead and pay it? Don't have to wait for an email or anything from them?
