we lost our NAO2 letter!

We are just married and in the process of putting together the AOS for my husband. We need a copy of the NAO2, and I had given it to him previously (when he was back in the UK) and told him to make a copy of everything. He did't. He's now here and we don't have a copy of the NAO2 anymore. Has anyone been in this situation? Do we really have to fill out the I-824 and pay $400 to get another copy??

As far as I know the only way to get another copy is to fill out the form and pay the fee... that paper should be printed on gold... Did he throw it away for sure? Maybe try looking through his things one more time or if he left any stuff with relatives back home try contacting them and see if they can look for it? Otherwise I'm pretty sure you are just going to have to suck it up and send off the form and the fee Sorry to hear about that

You are not the first person to do this. You DON'T need to pay for a new NOA2. Did you try doing a search for topics similar to this one? Give that a try. There's several threads about this.
