If you've received NOAs for the I-485,I-130, I-765, but NOT the biometrics appointment letter where exactly in the process are you?

Does that mean your application is still being evaluated or does it mean the biometrics office is super busy.

Thanks guys!

hi,

You first receive your NOAs and about a week later they will send you letter with biometrics appointment; your biometrics appointment will be held 2 weeks later after receiving that letter. and yes to both of your questions, your application is still evaluated and they are usually busy.

It depends on how busy the local office is as to when you get your biometrics letter. Icee, saying it comes in a week just makes people worried, and it's not true... it may be true for you, but not for everyone.

OP- Yeah, people are posting that office is slow... but I just want to add that even if your biometrics takes forever, the whole time to get your EAD and AP sort of evens itself out. Some people get their biometrics appointment early, then wait and wait for EAD. Others get their biometrics appointment late, and then the EAD is approved the next day after biometric appointment. Don't worry too much... I know the waiting sucks though. Good luck.

AOS for my husband
