I thought that USCIS wasn't sending out REMINDERS anymore as a courtesy and even the officer conducting our interview told us so, but LO AND BEHOLD I received a letter from USCIS reminding to apply for the removal of condions. The other funny part is that I have moved three times since my AOS and even filed the R-11 change of address on the USCIS website all three times. But the letter was sent to my original address from when I 1st sent my AOS packet. But it was forwarded to my present address. Also I thought Government letters were not supposed to be forwarded?

Anywho I got my packet ready and I will be sending it after the 15th of December, the earliest I am allowed to do so. Good luck to all who are awaiting and to those next !

AOS 2008

10/27/2008: Sent I-130,-485 and -765.

10/29/2008: USPS delivery confirmation.

11/04/2008: Notice Date.

11/06/2008: NOA for I-130,-485 and -765.

11/13/2008: Biometrics Appointment letter.

11/14/2008:cases online. I-130 and -765.

11/18/2008: I-485 case is online.

11/20/2008: Received RFE.

11/29/2008: Biometric Done.

12/14/2008: Sent response to RFE.

12/18/2008: NOA on RFE.

01/07/2009: Response for I-765: Current Status: Card production ordered.

01/17/2009: Received EAD in the mail

01/26/2009: Interview Notice.03/16/2009... It's a Date!!!

03/16/2009: Interview done.... Approved!

03/28/2009: Green Card in mail!!! Yeay!!!

The same exact thing happened to me :)

I moved twice after I received my GC and the reminder letter was showing the address used when I filed the I-485, but the envelope had my current address..

who knows.. I'll be sending my package in 2 days.. and the wait begins again!

I think their system is not up to the proper standards. Filing AR-11 supposedly updates our information with them so we can receive the most recent mail to the correct address... however, that is not the case.

I got the same reminder, to my original address..cue lots of panic as my old neighbour had picked it up until I got it. Once I realised what it was I was relieved! I changed my address online again with them using the original case number so now I have a confirmation number regarding the change. What a pain, I'm hoping they get the right address for the NOA to come...

Hey, can you tell me how you do that? I did change it with the USCIS but I'd like to again just to be sure ...

From what I have seen from posters here on VJ, the NOA1 and biometric letter are sent to the address used on the I-751 package, so you should get those just fine. Good luck to you all with your ROC! (I am a Sept filer, sitting waiting for approval :yes: )
