I am going to be filing the AOS Package for my husband tomorrow, I need to know if I need to send my birth certificate (I am the US Citizen). I already have my husbands birth certificate but do i also need to send my own copy of birth certificate and copy of US passport as well?

I am so confused.

No. There's an AOS thread in my signature that should help you. This process is about the immigrant, nothing to do with the USC (except the I-864). If yuo had a joint sponsor they would need to prove their citizenship, you already did to get the K1.

When your AOS interview comes, one of the things on the checklist is your birth certificate. I had to show mine at the interview, but you don't have to send it in with your AOS packet. Just make sure you bring it to the interview.

If you have a passport this is fine in place of the birth certificate. Some people really struggle to obtain a copy of their original birth cert (if they're naturalised USC this happens.. US born not so much).
