We received our NOA-1 on Sept 9th, according to the letter it was received Sept 3rd. Our papers havent been touched since Sept 13.... should we be worried? We are 4 days away from 3 months, and I know the average is 5, but it just seems odd that no one has done anything in so long. bah. anyway, thanks.

Our Visa Journey:

06/18/2010 - Submitted I-130 pkg and cheque - Denied, missing information
07/07/2010 - Re-submitted pkg - Denied, same information incorrect or missing - pulling our hair out!
08/30/2010 - Re-submitted pkg AGAIN! this time tried a new answer on two questions.
09/03/2010 - received pkg
09/08/2010 - NOA-1 sent
09/13/2010 - Touched
12/13/2010 - NOA-2 Issued.
12/19/2010 - NOA-2 Hard Copy Received!
01/04/2011 - Received AOS Bill
02/01/2011 - Paid AOS Bill
02/23/2011 - Received IV Bill
03/29/2011 - Paid IV Bill
03/30/2011 - Mailed IV Packet

No, you shouldn't worry. Some people never get touched until approval 5 months later! We didn't get touched for around 4 months, and then it was only because or case was transferred like many others. Keep the faith, you'll get there!

No, you shouldn't worry. Some people never get touched until approval 5 months later! We didn't get touched for around 4 months, and then it was only because or case was transferred like many others. Keep the faith, you'll get there!

besides...sometimes getting touched means you may be getting an RFE.

Don't worry now, try worrying if after 5months you get no NOA2 and no touch. Now just sit, and relax ;)

getting touched is overrated. it's personally gratifying to know that someone has actually looked at your packet, but looking at it doesn't mean they actually worked on it. :P

i say hope for an approval before 5 months and if not... worry after 5 months and a day :)

I'm the same as you. My NOA1 is Sept 2 and my one and only touch is Sept 3rd. Nothing since then. Like others have said already, don't worry about the lack of touches. Some people receive no touches and get the approval anyways. Although none of us can deny that we want to get touched ;)
