Address on form I-864

On form I-864... it asks for the mailing address as well as place of residence....we want All correspondences from the US Embassy in Ankara to be sent to our office here in Turkey rather than our house address... if you know Turkey, you know why..and is there somewhere I should list our address in the USA?

I see on form I-130, it asks for the "address in the USA where your relative intends to live"

Once a visa has been issued, will it be sent here to our address in Turkey or will it be sent to the USA? I know that once a visa has been approved, we have 6 months in which to leave the country for the states....therefore wouldn't it make more sense to have the actual card mailed to us here in Turkey?

The visa is attached to a page of the beneficiary's passport by the embassy. The passport is taken and then returned to the beneficiary with the visa in place.

You don't need to list your address in the USA anywhere, though many people put their USA address as with DCF, you only hand in the I-864 at the interview so next time you'll have anything to do with the US government you'll hopefully be in the USA, and also it goes to establish domicile in the USA. Nothing wrong with using your Turkish address though.

Like PP said, you'll get your passport with visa back to your Turkish mailing address (and it is ok for the mailing address to be different from your residential address, ie the mailing address be the office).
