my case also transfered from CSC to TSC then local office and again another local office. my priority date is June,28 and still no approval. We can not do much as many people have same issue. look at the following link that shows many people with same issue:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/281110-california-service-center-to-texas-service-center/

I think we have to wait and hopefully TSC process I-130 in new year faster. just hope.

Hello everyone and Happy Holidays! Just was hoping to find someone who sent his or her I-130 for parents in October 2010 or around that time. What is your status now? I filed for both parents on Oct 4, 2010 and received NOA1 on October 8, 2010. Since then both applications have been "touched" once with the last update on October 18, 2010. It's been only 2 months since I sent the forms but I am wondering if anyone got his or her NOA2 yet if you filed in the summer for example. Both of my applications were sent to California Service Center. Thanks and good luck to all of you!

2010-10-04: I-130 Sent for both parents via Express mail in one envelope.

2010-10-08: NOA1 email and text notification received. Both checks cashed.

2010-10-08: Case numbers assigned: both cases sent to California Service Center. Cases available online.

2010-10-15: NOA1 hardcopy received by mail.

2010-10-18: Both cases "Touched" online.

2011-01-21: NOA2 email received. Cases approved in 3.5 months.

2011-01-27: NVC entered both cases in the system. Auto update by phone.

2011-01-28: Called NVC to update my email address.

2011-01-29: NOA2 hardcopy received by mail.

2011-01-31: NVC sent me emails about AOS fee and Choice of Agent forms. Paid AOS fee of $88.

2011-02-01: Sent Choice of Agent forms to NVC via regular mail.

2011-02-02: AOS fee status online: PAID. Printed Document Cover Sheet.

2011-02-03: Mailed 2 forms (for both parents) I-864EZ, Affidavit Of Support to NVC.

2011-02-04: Called NVC: Choice of Agent forms received on Feb 3, 2011

2011-02-07: Called NVC: IV Bill fee is ready to be paid. $404x2 paid for both parents online.

2011-02-08: IV Bill fee status online: PAID. Printed Document Cover Sheet.

2011-02-09: Received email from NVC asking to complete an Application for Immigrant Visa.

If your case (form I-130) was approved but the case has not yet been closed, then your dad would now need to gather all sorts of documents and send them to NVC where your case is being processed. After NVC receives all the papers and fees from your dad and you (it may take up to several months), NVC will check the visa bulletin and if your priority date is close enough, NVC will close your case and transfer it to your local embassy where your appointment date will be assigned to you and you and your father will get an interview notice (one month before the interview). So, check with your dad whether he already sent all the docs NVC was asking for and then check here for the most recent priority dates for visas: http://travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_1360.html

Good luck!

Congratulations! The fastest NOA2 I've ever heard of! That is great! It's good to hear California Service Center can actually work fast. I filed for both of my parents in October 2010. So, hopefully, in a few months I will get NOA2 as well from CSC. Best of luck to you and your father! Great job!

you can use one check if you like long as you're sending then together.

you dont need a photocopy of your bio page of your passport.... your birth certificate --> yes...! You need to send two.. it's two seperate petitions keep that in mind and they will try to process them together. You can use the G1145 IF you are going to send it to a LOCKBOX you can.. heck it's free.. I just sent off an application (i130) yesterday and i used it just so i can have the peace of mind that it was recived though i can always check my acct. to see if my check was cleared.

each case/petition should be seperated

THE CIVIC TEST IS FINE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT AS LONG AS YOU STUDY FOR IT YOU'LL BE FINE TRUST ME..

THIS IS ALL THE REQUIREMENT YOU NEED TO SUBMIT:

Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative (if you are filing for both parents, you must file a separate petition for each parent but you can put everything in the same envelop.)

A copy of your birth certificate showing your name and the names of both your parents

A copy of your parents’ civil marriage certificate

your Certificate of Naturalization or Citizenship OR U.S PASSPORT

a COPY OF YOUR MOM/DAD BIRTH CERTIFICATE

1 copy that i mention above each parent if your filing both mom/dad ...
