Hello all. i would like to know from someone who has experience. I am self employed and would like to know for sure what proof of support I need for interview . Tax returns ? also since I am self employed do I need to fill out the I-134 Help please. thanks, oh.....Going to Kiev.

As the petitioner you need to supply a form I-134. The income evaluated will be line 22 of your most recent 1040 tax return.

Idaho 1, I am also self employed and also from Idaho, Lewiston. The first time I applied for a K1, they wouldn't accept just my tax forms. I had to go to my Banks and get letters from them saying how much was deposited into my accounts during the previous 12 months.The problem with Self employed returns,is they can be lied on quite easily. You could say you made more than you really did, just to qualify for the VIsa. Of course a lot of self employed also report less income, so they don't owe as much on Taxes. Hope this helps. Bill
