Hi All.

Well I was happy to hear in october about our I-30 case approval. I called NVC as soon as I got the NOA2 and updated emails. I've been getting the instructions over the email to pay the fee's, and sent the Agent DS3032 via Email. Confirmed a week later. Got the fee's paid, and today the website showed actually as Paid.

Well, I am now ready to send the I-864 from my wife and with my father in law as co-sponsor. My wife is unemployed and I am self employed in Mexico, but with my father in law's income is enough to meet poverty lines.

As I am also getting ready to file for DS230 I found at the website that they are accepting now electronic applications called DS260, where you input all the data online, but they ask me for a BENEFICIARY I.D. and says to be found at the Inmigrant Visa Fee Processing Invoice. The invoice I got only has the case number MEP2010XXXXXX and the Invoice I.D. XXXXXXXXX. Anyone has an idea of where to find this BENEFICIARY ID number? Also will I have to mail phisically my passport pictures and other documents by doing this electronic process also?

Also, the Dept of State website mentions that I can send the I-864 and I864A via email through the NVCInquiry account, as they say is faster. All I have to do is scan all the documents to PDF's.

Has anyone done the process this way? was it faster in your opinion?

Thanks for your input.

My friend,

Unless you are going through electronic filing, i will not be concerned with the the DS260. Rather what you should do is go to www.state.gov. Then go to the visa section and follow the online payment section. It will ask if you are the petitioner or beneficiary and them ask you to input your NVC number then Invoice Identification number. You can then select the invoices already generated and pay the respective bills.

Good luck

Oh, well actually the bills have been paid. They even show PAID status now. They sent me the confirmation emails also. I just can't find the BENEFICIARY I.D. Number asked in the DS260. It is like 10 digit number code, said to be at the Inmigrant Visa Fee Processing Invoice. I don't know if they mean the Invoice I.D. or other one. I guess I am going to have to call the NVC.. sigh.

Thanks!

The DS260 is a pilot Program that only a few countries are partaking of

Visa applicants to be interviewed at selected U.S. Embassy/Consulate pilot locations which include:

* Amman, Jordan

* Athens, Greece

* Baghdad, Iraq

* Ciudad Juarez (only if the case number begins with MEP)

* Lima, Peru

* Montreal, Canada

If your country isn't listed above do not submit the Ds260 it does not apply to you and you could delay your case.
