YOU can send it yes.. BUT will not help your case.. or be assignd it. The NVC workers will probably toss it in the trash, shred it .. something of the like. NVC ask that no documents are to be mailed UNLESS requested. Will will not cause your case to be denied but may cause a delay in your case.... more money to replace orginals/certified documents that you would have mailed off.

Calling and speaking with the NVC staff will not help.. they will not tell any applicant to send off paperwork unless requested and to include the cover sheet.

Thank you fot the reply

does that mean if they sent me an email asking for the AOS payment and Iv payment not necessarily mean they need the papers to be sent unless i get a hardopy in the mail ?

If they request the payment for the AOS/IV then make the payment. About 1-2 buis. days after the payment should clear. THEN you will go back into the payment portal and print off the cover letter and send off the the necessary documents if you have them ready.

log on to the "Immigrant Visa Invoice Payment Center " and check to see if the staus paid and the Cover letter is in the system for the ds230.. if yes then you can send off the ds-230 and related documents.

Hello,

Do you have any idea how long it takes for a money order to clear at the NVC?

I don't have exact statistics. Since it is not an online payment, it may take a week or two to clear.

Do you still follow the paper and snail method?
