personal opinion?dont give up hope until the 150th day,maybe even 152nd.

they often dont let the wait go past 5 months to keep the whole 5 months time frame thingy going.sooooo there is still hope,dont worry

Don't feel bad, it has been over 5 months for my wife and I and we have not heard a word from the USCIS. I called the USCIS last week. They told me that they were 13 days behind and that I should hear something in the next two weeks.

I know being patient is hard but just hang in there.

I'm over 5 months and still waiting as well. I called last week and they gave me the same information that the previous poster said.

K-1 Visa
05/17/2010 – Petition mailed to USCIS via certified return receipt.
05/27/2010 – NOA1 issued
06/03/2010 – Touch/NOA1 hard copy received in US Mail
10/27/2010 – 5 month mark
10/28/2010 – Spoke to USCIS representative – 'still pending'
11/04/2010 – Spoke to USCIS representative – 'still pending', but service request generated
11/05/2010 – Notified that background checks are not complete - looks like we're in for a looong wait...
12/07/2010 – Received email notification of NOA2
12/16/2010 – NVC sent the case to Embassy in Malawi
02/28/2011 – Interview
03/14/2011 – VISA APPROVED!
05/04/2011 – Fiance and I came back to the U.S. together! smile.png
07/01/2011 – Married!

AOS
07/02/2011 – I-485 packet mailed to USCIS via certified return receipt.
07/06/2011 – Packet accepted.
07/07/2011 – Check cashed and NOA1 issued.
07/22/2011 – Received biometrics letter.
07/29/2011 – Biometrics completed (walk-in)
08/23/2011 – EAD Approved
08/31/2011 – EAD card arrived in the mail.
09/12/2011 – AOS interview - APPROVED! GC production ordered
09/21/2011 – Green Card received!!!

Removal of Conditions

06/13/2013 - I-751 packet mailed to USCIS via certified return receipt.

06/17/2013 - NOA issued

06/19/2013 - Check cashed

06/21/2013 - Received NOA in mail.

06/26/2013 - Received biometrics letter.

07/02/2013 - Biometrics completed (walk-in)

11/18/2013 - APPROVED! Card production ordered

i'm 5 months too passed!! they didnt even send RFE or contacted us in any way, i heard some cases gets RFE after 5 months :S i think for all of us waiting over 5 months we need to prepare for the next steps and hope for the best!! we'll give them a call in couple of days, can anyone post the number?

May 20, 2010 - I-129F sent to California SC

June 5, 2010 - NOA1 Received

Nov 2, 2010 - NOA2 Received APPROVED

Nov 8, 2010 - NVC Left

Nov 12, 2010 - NVC Hardcopy received

Nov 20, 2010 - Packet 3 Received through DHL

Dec 23, 2010 - Medical

*Cant Find a Co-Sponsor for I-134* :(

Just so ya know their no. is 1-800-375-5283 but I can't ever get past their automated thing that you listen to, its always just the same machine and not an actual human. They say their hrs 8am-8pm Mon-Fri but that is all I know. Someone will have to tell us both how to get ahold of an actual person because I've called twice so far and not gotten through past the automated thing yet...

waiting that long I think I would go crazy but K-1 visa isn't supposed to as long as the K-3 visa, I wish they would keep to the 5 months like they are supposed to. But my 5 months isn't until Nov. 17th but its coming.

The one answering the line is an automated response, so annoying that you can't get rid of it and just be contented with it. :angry:

Oh well, best thing for us to do is wait a little more time and maybe take the other people's advice that IF it's beyond six months and still nothing, then maybe contact the congressman/senator of your state. :wacko:

When you call the USCIS number, just let the automated message play thru, do not press any numbers, the automated message will repeat a few times and then you will be connected to an actual human. I did this a couple months ago and it worked for me.

Im coming upon 5 months of waiting for my NOA2, has it ever taken any of you this long to get your NOA2?

same here. my NOA1 is dated June10th,,,

i don't knOw what's going on.

Hope we get it this week. :(

02/21/11: POE L.A.

03/04/11: Applied for SSI

04/01/11: passed actual Driving test!

04/08/11 Wedding Day

04/28/11: AOS packet sent USPS

04/29/20: AOS received by J.C (Chicago)

05/04/11: Tx message from USCIS that application rec'v

05/04/11: check cashed $1,070 whew!

05/23/11: Biometrics Appt @ 2pm

06/07/11: USCIS text notification

07/09/11: Interview/ AOS Approved!/ Card production tx notice
