Hello, My time-line is not similar, my husband has been in AP since Jan. I also call DOS and they wont tell me anything besides , he's still in AP. Only thing that I can think of that is taking so long, is his name being Muhammad.

Anyhow ... I will pray that we all will have our love ones with us soon !

Ithink the name has something to do with it too. It is Mohsin's middle name also.

I am in AP since 23th of May 2010.American embassy in Abu dhabi say more than 99 percent of Ap will be completed within 6 months.Mine is 5/5 months now so I have a little hope that it will be over within next 2 weeks.

The embassy replied to my senator's email, saying we should finish in less than 5 months. He sent the email to me, so I know that's what it said.

when we were put on AP, we were told most were 4-6 weeks. But some take 5 months and others take years.

I am praying 5 months is about it. I don't think I can go much longer without a visit!

Well I thought I would check in and say it has been more than 12 weeks now for us (day 87).

I am so tired of waiting. And tired of not getting a straight answer anywhere!

In an email from the embassy, they say the DOS controls AP. Then when I talk to DOS, they tell me embassy controls AP!

Does ANYONE know ANYTHING about where his visa is? This is ridiculous! :bonk:

I had emailed them with my new phone number and when they replied today to say they got it, it also said send the passport. And at the same time I was reading this, he was entering his passport number in the link and it said the same!

This was day 97. Another guy Mo knows also got his message at the link today. So at least we know they are working on things.

We decided not to send the emails. Just waited it out. But I did send a kinda begging please help us email last week (the 22nd I think) and in the link we use, it says our case was updated on the 23rd. I think it takes about a week to show a change online. I don't know if my begging helped... who knows... LOL!
