I really want to say Congrats !!! ......but.....I don't wanna burst your bubble, but you should really wait and see if this means you got your green card - as I think standard is that you will have a "Card Production" notice first and your status online should be on "Post decision activity" once they tell you that your card has been ordered and is on its way. That would be really awesome if you would get approved without an interview - which is reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallly rare when you do AOS based on a marriage - is that on how you changed your status?

Keep us posted so we can celebrate with you :)

My AOS is NOT based on marriage, my visa is under H1B (L-1A particularly), they need to review and confirm my education, resume, credentials, knowledge about my work field, etc.

This is the text in the email notification:

“On March 11, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later”

By the way, what’s ADIT?

Ok...celebration time!!! :) ....sorry if my initial response sounded negative or maybe even mean, wasn't ment to be like that...didn't know that you did AOS from a work-visa, that your approval process is different....sooo CONGRATULATIONS!!!! :)

as far as the ADIT goes.....I just put in the search box on uscis.gov and it came up with a memo from 2004 that states that USCIS will continue to place ADIT stamps in people's passport as temporary proof of residence - basically you could make an Infopass now and get a stamp in your passport and already travel etc. until the card arrives in the mail.

Congrats again!!!

Looks like most October filers are done. I am still waiting ....

My interview experience is here:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/299638-interview-completed-today-and-now/

I see that most folks got an approval letter within 5 days. Here I am in week 2 and I stare at my mailbox in vain every day.

oh boy ..sounds like you are the exception to the rule. They do say 2 - 3 weeks to everyone and one thinks it's the maximum time and you get your card way before that.....haven't heard of any other cases though lately who are waiting for the card, paper to arrive so don't know if they are just backed up right now .....

Hope you get relief of that nervousness real soon!!
