we sent our AOS package on July 31th. On August 18th, we received a letter notice that our case was transfered to CSC, we had the biometrics appointment on Step 13th. The case was then touched once on Step 15th. last night (Oct 14th) , i got an E-mail says "On October 14, 2010, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CHICAGO, IL location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action."

From what i have read on VJ, that we are probably have an interview coming up. Here are some of my questions

1. I just graduated from college and is still searching for a job right now. my dad is my joint sponsor who makes over 100K a year. me and my wife is living with my parents right now until i find a job. me and my wife don't have any lease or utility bills evidence like that. We did open a joint account but there aren't that many transaction made because my parents are paying for everything we need. Can my dad go to the AOS interview with us? is this a good idea or not?

2. My wife speaks some English but is not fluent, can my dad be her translator or we have to got a professional translator?

Thank you guys for any kind of advice.

First yes, it appears you are about to have an interview.

1. Not normally no

2. I believe that you should have a professional but I believe that family members have been allowed before. I would call the 1800 number to verify if your father is allowed
