You have 10 days from moving to report your address change. It is a legal requirement. Failure to do so can result in severe consequences. It is a requirement of your LPR status.

Online: https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=coa

** moved from "Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas" to General Immigration Related Discussion as this isn't a question about the AOS process specifically, more a general Immigration "question"/need for definition**

so we need to change our address everytime we move my husband is in military every couple years we move in different state...

Yes. until you become a USC you must report your change of address.

Your husband (sponsor) must file an i-865 to change his address on his I-864.

my husband is also in military.... he's in fort Irwin... I am here @ oxnard, CA in an apartment... but the address we're using is my aunt's address to be safe.... that's where we live before we moved in an apartment.... we have interview schedule.... will it cause any trouble coz we choose not to change our address?
