Be careful what you wish for!!! haha... I can pretty much guarantee your fiance will interview before I've even scheduled my interview in Montreal!! So yes, I admit, it is nice to know we are only 13 days away from calling up CSC in the event of no NoA2.... buuuuttt.... we're in the position of being an unlucky Montreal consulate-er (I should use that word with my students.....) haha.... but, in the end, we'll all get there!

Say you guys get your NoA2 in the next month.... your fiance could still be in the US right after the new year! You have a trip planned around then, correct? it's possible he could even fly back with you after your visit... London is meant to be super fast, only taking a month or so to schedule interviews.... seriously, you could aim for after the new year.

That would be so amazing. We are planning on him arriving in March, then the wedding in April. That's the worst-case scenario. Anything before then would be a dream. I really doubt he'd have a visa in hand by January, but it's a very nice thought. We are preparing all paperwork so he can literally mail everything back to the consulate the day after receiving the packets.

That said, the CSC would actually have to, you know, approve things first.

I'm sorry you have to go through Montreal. That's awful.

I know what you mean.. I want to like... hand deliver my paperwork to Montreal haha.. of course that won't actually happen. But, we'll have everything ready to go beforehand so there's no delays. You don't actually need everything in hand, I don't think, as long as you are sure you will have it all before the interview. Correct? I think you just send the check list back. That was my understanding, anyway. I could be wrong!

It is unfortunate that we're going through Montreal, but I'm committed to teaching until April 30th, anyway, so I couldn't possibly leave before May 1st as it was. So, we are hoping to get an interview very early in the new year, by say February... because we are one of those crazy couples planning a full out wedding on a K1. Don't ask why I decided on that. haha.... oh well. It'll all work out, for all of us! Keeping the faith :)

Yeah, we just have to send the signed checklist back. Guaran-effing-teed that I'm shaking with so much excitement when I receive it that my signature will be some kind of infantile scrawl, lol. And the checkmarks will be squiggly and excessively long. I'll probably even end up ripping the paper.

I think 6 more days refers to when that poster can make a stink because it's been more than 5 months since NoA1...... correct, or no?
