In the past before the fee adjustment for each K-2 I had to pay 131 plus the 131 for my fiancee. Now I see a fee of 350 for the K1 K-157 but no mention of the K2 children. Does that mean the K2 kids are not costing anything now?

what do u mean is it a visa fee? a visa fee for k1 -k2(derivative of K1) is USD350 each k1 and k2 should pay that amount if ur fiancee got 2 children they need to pay USD350 each thats total of 700 for 2children and additional USD350 again for ur fiancee so total of USD1050 but base on the dollar exchange/currency coz u have to pay in peso at BDO maybe a lil like 1070 the total for 3personss

You sound like Alla when she finds something in the store with no price tag. "Seems like it is free"

The fee for the K-2 is $350 for each K-2. The AOS fees are for each individual also. There are "discounts" for children under age 14 if filed with their parent's AOS.

That is sort of what I assumed... but the USCIS website says nothing in it's new pages about a 157 for K2 dependants - which is a change from when I brought my family to the US from the Philippines.

My good friend is now marriying my sister-in-law who lives in the Phillipines and we were researching the changes like 131 turning into 350 when I ran across the lack of info on K2 filing. After I posted this we found the updated Manila Embassy webpage that made it clear the fee was fee each K2 plus the K1. In this case equaling 1050. I did the conversion into php pesos and back for exact amout that will be needed as the system is a scam and always has been. The conversion rate and Banco de Oro is 50 to 1. To get US dollars into php the current convertion rate is 43.3. So you work back and end up with needing $1,212.00.

Oh well such is life.

The USCIS is silent on the price because the DS-157 is DEPARTMENT OF STATE (DS part of the form name is your clue) NOT USCIS....

That was a mis-statement by me. I meant to say the State Department Website was silent.
