The following is my letter of intent template, I'd like to know if it seems fine or is it too simple?

I, insert name, intend on marrying insert name within 90 days of my arrival in the United States on the K-1 Visa.

Sincerely Yours, insert name.

Signature.

My second question is about the passport style photos and proving that they were taken within 30 days of filing the petition. The pictures don't come with any dates on the back, do I need to prove they were taken within 30 days or is it acceptable as long as it's an accurate/recent photo?

Thank you.

letter of intent looks fine also you can check out the example forms page here on VJ it gives samples of almost all the forms you will need to fill our or write such as the letter of intent. (you can find the example tab at the top of the page)

Also the passport photos are fine as long as it is a recent one. I sent mine in and did not have any date on them it was just a recent one....Good Luck

Hi everybody.

We send I-129F July 12 2010, and we got NOA1 July 17.

Since that we didnt hear anything from USCIS.

What we see now, is that from September 9, are not any I-129F approved. Why this is happening? Is this normal? Thank you.

It's only been two months. USCIS lists five months as the estimated processing time, though usually they are within 2-4 months. Yes, it is normal.

That's fine. I used the VJ sample, which is pretty much the same. Short and sweet is fine, as long as it says what it needs to say...your letter does.

You do not have to "prove" they were taken within 30 days. Actually we took a BUNCH of photos and used them for everything all the way through the AOS. Unless their is some major appearance change (slightly longer or shorter hair does not count) the same photo can be used. I think we got something like 20 photos and had maybe 2-3 left when it was all done. USCIS likes photos more than grandmothers!

Such quick responses, thank you.

Another quick one, does it matter much if the letter is hand written opposed to typed out?

Why are you asking the same questions in two different threads?

Looks good to me.

Photos dates are not an issue; don't worry.

Typed out absolutely with a handwritten signature.

You may have the neatest handwriting in the world

but a bureaucrat gives no points for that and may

delay your case if he can't make out ONE character...
