Quick question, is there any rhyme or reason to the way they process apps? You would think that they would want to chronologically process things, but I am guessing that is not the case... I am starting to worry that they are towards the end of the month, yet seemed to have skipped over mine... :S

11/17/2008------- Met each other online over the X-Box

01/17/2010------- After months of flirting sends me her number

02/26/2010------- Decided to finally meet

03/19/2010------- Met in Detroit, KTFO by Cupid at first sight

09/10/2010------- I-129F Sent

09/14/2010------- NOA1 recieved

09/17/2010------- "Touched"

02/10/2011------- RFE E-mail

02/14/2011------- RFE Hardcopy

02/17/2011------- RFE Sent

02/23/2011------- RFE Received by CSC

02/28/2011------- NOA 2 Acceptance E-Mail

There is very little rhyme or reason (hehe, I had two sibling cats named Rhyme and Reason). When they get your petition it goes in box with general similarly dated petitions. Then when an adjudicator finishes his box he goes to the storage room and picks out the next box in the row. So you didn't get skipped over, you might just have gotten put in a box with later petitions or something like that.

I think this is how it works at least. Also, some adjudicators work really quickly and some really slowly. So maybe you are with petitions of your same date, but that box landed on a desk of a really slow adjudicator, so s/he's working on them....but really slowly.

Check out Igor's list under the Immigration Timelines tab. It'll show you a list of all the VJers still waiting for their petitions. There are lots of early September and even August filers that are still waiting.

So....just be patient :)

I hope im in a good box with early dates :D

Also, im sure that some people stop using VJ or forget to keep updating their timeline. Because there are some reeeaally old dates on igors list towards the bottom.
