Hang in there everyone :) We are over the halfway mark to 5 months!!! :) I know that this month and last month FLEW with the Holidays approaching. Hopefully the next two will be similar! We need to be grateful that our situations even allow us to be with the ones we love to begin with. Many people wouldn't even have the ability to keep these LD relationships going to begin with, financially, emotionally, etc, so keep your head up!

Even though my mind is now set on my journey to reunite with my boyfriend, which is in 4 days, I can not ignore the fact that the process at this stage became unbelievably slow, just rediculously slow comparing to Sept 2009. :hehe: I can not even ask him to bring the financial papers + letter of intent with him because I'm afraid its gonna be outdated eventually. The whole thing is just unfair for too much money&stress.

On the other note, happy holidays everyone (F) , and even if you are going to be apart with your fiance(e) this time of year - you will spend it with your family which is equally great, cause soon you will leave them for 'whoknows' how much time...

Today is exactly the 3rd month since I received my NOA1. Hopefully next month our luck will change. My fiance is getting frustrated right now. Anyway, happy holidays to all VJ members!

Frustration doesn't cover it. All of our lives are on hold at the moment, for the sake of a 20 minutes adjudication process. :crying:

I know this 5 month wait has happened in the past, but it doesn't make it any easier when you see other peoples petitons getting processed out of order, and VSC grinding to a halt. I know that we will all get through this is the end. And 2011 will be a very special year for each of us here.

Happy holidays, one and all.

Well, it's now January 1. We are now down to 1-2 months (based on the 5 month timeline, which has been a bit tenuous lately).

Nothing will happen for two days, that's for sure, but now that the party is over at USCIS, let's see if they start getting busy on the work we are paying them $1,820.00 an hour to do ($455.00 a pop times 4 petitions per hour).

We all need to keep our timelines up and to report phone calls and other contact, not just for our own encouragement, but as tools to use when each of us needs to make our own phone calls. Knowledge is power, and the more we compare notes, the more we empower each other to get the one thing we are after.

2011 is the year that it all happens for us. Let each of us empower all of us to make it happen sooner instead of later.
