this is just my opinion, IDK 100%

but i would fill out the info as it is when you fill the form out... you are not in US so she has no relatives here, yet.

also, you would be a non-immigrant (K-1 and K-3 are non-immigrant) ... this i DO know :)

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

My situation is a tiny bit different than yours because I'll travel with my family, but you can check yes and you can check "Other".

My family interview went really good, they just said they will only be there to see me get married, and they showed the C.O pictures of me and my fiancé and our 2 families together, they joked around about wedding gifts and gifts registry ...:P

Just make sure she has a decent bank statement, if she doesn't have a lot of money, she can borrow from friends/family just until she has her bank statement out and then she can return the money right away. LOTS of people do that in Egypt.

Let her convince them she's returning back home, your fiancée could write to her congressman, it helps sometimes as the C.O thinks it's the congressman's blame if she overstays.

It won't hurt but your fiancée could send her an invitation letter and explain everything and that your mom is not intending to immigrate.

Hope that helped, I know I was going crazy when my family was going through it, praying for you!

The answer is - it depends on when she is going for interview.

If she goes for her B1/B2 interview before you travel in Nov and you are there, then she does not have any relatives in US.

If she goes for her B1/B2 interview after Nov, then yes she has a relative.

Hope this helps.... :)
