Seeing some NOA2 approvals amongst August filers on Igor's list http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?visa=3&form=2&scenter=2&option=3&sortby=2

Also saw that August filer's cases were transferred to Texas service center. What's up with that?

Meanwhile Raffy is too busy getting groped amongst Sept filers. Congrats!!!

"too busy"? if you only knew that today I also had a touch, a text and another email from them saying that "...On November 17, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION..." (usually takes about 5 to 10 days after they give you the first hit on it for this one to come up (first hit was yesterday) :)

Thanks everybody for the congrats!!

Sincerely,

From the Sept. filer who's having all of USCIS attention: Mr. Raffy :)

PS: I am just a sign to everybody else that their time is coming soon... wish you the best!!

:)

Im browsing through here while I wait to head out to hopefully visit my husband, and I see a lot about biometrics appointments. Is that something that everyone has to go to? We haven't received anything about it at all.

When this thread was started it was just labeled September 2010 Filers, it didn't specify what kind of filers because its in the IR-1/CR-1 catagory which really means I-130 form filers. AOS filers started posting here also so thats why you see some getting touched frequently and appointments for biometrics etc etc etc. What they are going thru now is what we will be going thru probably in a couple of years from now when we either apply to remove conditional residency or for US Citizenship.

VisaJourney.com> US Visa Holder and Permanent Resident Immigration Discussion> Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas> Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports.

This is a thread some of you might want to check out, if you go to Forums and scroll down the list way below this IR-1/CR-1 subject you will see the thread I pasted here under US Visa Holder and Permanent Resident Immigration Discussion and after you click it you will see September 2010 filers there also and like 5 pages of posts already by other AOS filers.

I really dont know much about IR1 visas but in most cases seems like having your paperwork sent to Cali its a very good thing.... Good luck!!

Chicago is the lockbox it goes to initially - after that gets assigned to California (CSC) or Vermont (VSC) and some get transferred from CSC or VSC to Texas (TSC)

Thought this was IR-1/CR-1 filers group.

AOS (Adjustment of Status) filers please post elsewhere in AOS group - they have September filers.

Sorry no offence meant - is getting confusing.

Thanks.

Yeah we all should start hearing something in the next 2 weeks I hope. Only I wish some of those people would update there info on Igor's. Many drop out of site after they get their interview and never come back to say the result so they hang on that list in limbo taking up space.

OMG I am over the moon right now, just recieved an email from USCIS stating 'On December 1st, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved the I130' OMG I can't believe it, keep reading the email to make sure they are not requesting further evidence, but woo hoo woo hoo :)
