HelloYgr! I will just call you this way. Im used to this one :) Why don't you try calling NVC? Maybe the NOA2 was just lost in the mail due to your fiance moved in many places. I can feel you and hoping for your happiness.

his friends back in okinawa constantly check the mailbox that was his,no updates there, and after he changed his address, they sent him a letter stating they have received the change of address, the chances are very slim,we will see what happens tho.

thank you

Ygr ill call u this as well its easier hehe. Anywho just saw that u asked how things are with me. Well so far we are okay. Got the checklist he finished it but the embassy has specific days and times he needs to take it back and he has working and couldnt go. He may just end up taking a day off or go next wednesday when he has a day off. So thas the update right now. Just waiting again. The interview date will be about 3 weeks after he drops it in so we are thinking last week in december or maybe if they wanna push it back or he cant drop it off just yet, the first week in jan.

Ok checklist dropped off! Or should i say packet 3. And the lady at the embassy told my fiance that the next date for the interview is the 5th of jan. But its not official till we get the letter i think. But at least we know its still pretty close.

Just spoke to the State Department, and London has received and logged our petition...Packet 3 is on its way to my fiance right now!

Too bad we have that stupid medical snag to sort out. Hopefully he gets an appointment with his doctor this week. I told him to be American about it and call them constantly until they can fit him in. We should be mailing in packet 3 by the end of this week!

Hi guys, I have been off our June forum for a bit, thought I would check in. Glad to see most everyone is approved and moving along. Sorry for those that are still having challenges (YGR). My fingers are crossed that everyone still waiting is approved soon, and those with medical/interview scheduling it goes smooth, and fast.

After much hell and lots of phone calls/time on hold, we were able to get our interview scheduled for December 20th. My fiancée is doing her Medical today and tomorrow. Wish us luck!

Thats great gap1. We have to wait until we get the interview date then call to make an appt for the medical. They dont let you do it till you have that date. Which sucks.

That sucks. We were able to get our medical in really early (last week), but we had to obtain additional information from his GP before they'll give him the green light. It's annoying.

Well not yet. We still have to see his GP so they'll fax the results over to the embassy and they still haven't been able to get him an appointment. Hopefully they can schedule it this week so we can move forward.

They are finally working on the July petitions.

I just got an email from USCIS saying they mailed a notice for RFE on Dec 7th. Does anyone know how much time they give you for a deadline to respond.

It will take at least a week for there letter to get to Thailand and a week for a return letter.

Can I call the National customer service center ( 1-800 #) and find out what evidence they need so I can get a head start on collecting it ? If so where are they located or what time zone and what time they open so I can figure out the time difference,I can't find it on there site. Do I need any information other than my WAC # when I call?

Sorry for all the stupid questions, I'm not all that computer savvy.

Hi Thai. The letter will tell you how long it you have, I believe it is typically 90 days, so you should have plenty of time. Unfortunately the script readers in the call center will not be able to tell you the why. You should be fine, plan on 90days from date of notice.

good luck.
