Legacy Posters stirring trouble

Not that hard to grasp really. I am talking about the same group of old school posters that are complaining and constantly defending their mates posts, actions or latest scheme; yet damn those with differing views to the banned bin.

Most of our journeys are over, so let it go. Stop wasting the mods time with this bull #######. Stop trying to scheme to get Soffiya kicked, whom you now apparently love.

Basically stop creating drama.

If you are referring to JAS and his blatant threads being used to discredit muslims, I already reported it. Nothing happened. Clearly this is not a TOS violation - I'm actually very disappointed.

Actually, while you may not have been notified, your report was actioned this morning and the mod team has discussed this particular theme and appropriate approaches since. I have a totally different perspective on your 'life' at VisaJourney, and when I re-examine your 'thread-entrances' - it's as if (at least the last 3 years) you've got some point to make, and then attempt to utilise charts and graphs to 'make your point'. Mostly, when you have attempted that, in the past, you become magnet for ridicule here - is many reasons for this ridicule, but mostly, you've been ridiculed.

I would hope, after at least 3 years of sustaining this ridicule, that you'd decide to be elsewhere. 3 years of 'self-generated drama' seems way too long, IMNSHO.

But you haven't made that choice yet.

What's up? Why hang around Visa Journey? Why go through possible further ridicule? What do you gain from it? How does it 'help your cause' ?

Also, IMO, you 'self-generate drama' often. Why? Whassup with that?

I'm not really sure what to say here. I feel like the same people who complain or attack complainers are the same people who attack people for no reason at all. Someone could say they like the color pink and then they're attacked for liking pink. The person who attacked someone for liking pink decides they like pink and someone attacks them, then it's against the TOS all of a sudden and there's outrage nothing is done about it. VJ is strange that way, but it's not going to change.

There is no cause or gain, it's a forum and a place to exchange some ideas. Is it no surprise that those doing the ridiculing are usually the same people who disagree with me on whatever point is being made. Why is a chart grounds for ridicule considering the context of a forum? Why is illustrating something like health care cost on a chart to be mocked in a thread about health care. That is what educated people do, how you have legitimate discussion - using data and facts.

How is my opinion creating drama? If I feel the earth is flat, then that is my opinion. That should not result in an ambush or threads like the other one being created.

I don't care if I am ridiculed, as I don't come on here to get the love and attention of VJ or to form some coalition. I don't need it. I come to debate points. What's clear is that some people are incapable of having such discussions and prefer to play games like scheming on the mods. I have no problem with that, just stay our of legitimate threads.

There is a reason why trolling is not permitted in most forums.

welshie I don't even know where the hell it came from but that's just how I feel. I don't even pay attention to it anymore unless it's a thread I've started and it's just gone really far another way. usually cleo starts the convo going somewhere else. she always apologizes to me though
