Good Morning MENA!! Happy Tuesday!!

Sure glad monday is over..yesterday I went to the school for my son who will be starting Pre-K, and was told they don't have a spot for him anymore. Needless to say I was not happy since I accepted the offer online and the only explanation they have is that some how his offer got deleted. :angry: After arguing back and forth, and the fact he just got 5 shots and I bought all of his uniforms (that are non-refundable) all they could tell me was to come back Saturday and they will try and get him in.

But its a new day, and everything is great :)

Its Tuesday i really don't like that day so much .It has been my worset day since long time maybe cause everything bad happened to me it was on Tuesday LOL.

My husband had a friend over for iftar last night so we did not get much sleep. I'm counting the minutes until I can go home.

Good Morning Mena!!! Hey Mandy, Hot Guy, Zee Bee, Tunisia and Sara... sorry Mandy about your child's school.. hopefully everything will work out... well i finally did what i didn't want to do... i had to cut my hair because most of it came out due to stress... i have a small afro now :crying: everyone said it's cute.. my husband said to me, did you have a wig on when you came to Egypt... i said nooooooooo that was my real hair and it was long and healthy....but due to the immigration process with the 751 and our situation my hair started coming out in October 2009 and never stopped...i did put perms in it to make it straight but it was making matters worse... so i have a "natural" hairstyle... to be honest my scalp feels like it can breathe because i'm not wearing wigs.. my husband said will it grow back :rofl: i said it will take time.. he's used to how i looked when i was in Egypt... oh well, it had to be done sooner or later... :blush: .. everyone have a great day... looking for Olivia, Annie, Jeanne, Jackie, Andrea,.. where are you guys :(

Happy (huh?) Tuesday everyone!

Mandy~I can't believe they turned away your son!! That would have me fired up!!

HG~I feel for ya! Tuesdays usually sux for me too!

Tunisia~I am one "True Blood" fan too!!! I can't wait to find out what the heck Sookie is!!!! And where the heck is the storyline going with Lafayette?????

Zee and Sara~ {{waves}} how are ya?

{{wonderful} I am so sorry about your hair!! I know the stress part about making it come out though..I mourn every morning in the shower...so far I have resolved to sticking a straighten coat hanger down the drain to clear out the hair...

Well so far my day has been...lol should have been a Monday!

Spent more time at the DMV to get my hubby's DL and again we had to remake an appointment for tomorrow morning! Apparently whomever made the appointment on the phone didn't post it correctly and they didn't have the written test for him. WTH???? It takes almost 2 hours for somebody to tell me that???

We are going back tomorrow morning.....:angry: They are getting to know us TOO well!!!

Anyways..hope this afternoon gets better!!!!:innocent:

Well I know what Sookie is because I've read all of the books. There are 10 books and a small short story book, so 11 in total. The actual "book 11" will come out in February 2011 so I'm looking forward to that to get me through until Season 4 starts in June 2011. The show is pretty close to the books but he leaves a few things out and also Alan Ball (director) has gone off on quite a few tangents on the show. I don't want to give too much away in case you decide to read them at some point, but Lafayette is not a major character in the books. I do LOVE him though in the show. Such a brilliant actor. I can't help it though I'm totally crazy about ERIC! hehe Though I wouldn't mind the warm blooded Alicide either :lol:

No freakin' way!! I did not know that it was based on a book!!! LOL shows you how much attention I've been paying!!!! Hmm you are going to have to pm me and tell me WTH Sookie is!! I doubt that I will read the book(s) until after the season only because I hate it when I read a book first then watch the movie or series. I get frustrated and disappointed with the thing. Yeah, Eric is turning out to be not such a bad guy now that they are showing more of his past!!!

What's up with Franklin and Tara???? :bonk: :bonk: Now she is going to a Survivor group support???? :rofl:

I LOVE this show!!! Everytime it comes on I watch the past episodes. My husband just looks at me distainly and says THIS again????

The show is based on the Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire Mystery novels by Charlaine Harris

I will PM you and tell you what Sookie is :) You find out lots about it in the books :)

Also in the books Eric is NOT the bad guy at all. He is out for himself always but he's kind and good to Sookie and Bill is the deceitful lying butt hole lol That's why I've spent all this time waiting for Eric and Sookie to get together as they do in the books, but I don't know what Alan Ball has in store for the show.

In the books Franklin Mott is an older vampire and he's good to Tara. He buys her lots of things and takes care of her (think sugar daddy) but later he gets bored with her and gives her to another vampire named Mickey to pay a debt. Mickey is the psychopath. I think that Alan Ball combined two characters into one, thus giving you crazy (but funny) Franklin. Don't you just love how Franklin texts so fast? LOL Well I should say did as he's no more thanks Jason haha

You'll also find out a lot more about Hot Shot, Crystal and her family and what's going on with them. Their biggest secret isn't drugs ;)

I have my husband so wrapped up in the show that he's so angry he gets off at 10 on Sundays and can't wait until it reaires at 11:30 pm EST lol He runs in the door, we eat and rewatch the previous week's episode on demand and then we watch the new one together (2nd time for me)

I've read the books 3 times through ( all 11) I need help! haha :wacko:

Did you see the special that HBO had on the show before this season? I nearly freaked out when I heard Jason speak with his natural english accent!!! How in the heck does he come across with such a good accent in the series??? :lol:

The series keeps hinting that Bill is not as good as Sookie claims him to be but she keeps running back to him!! I can't wait to see next week!

Poor hubby keeps saying to me, you just like all this blood and sex everytime the show comes on!! I tell him it's not the sex or the blood, it's the storyline!!

Oh yeah and I love Jessica and Hoyt!!!

That sounds like my husband regarding Spartacus on Starz. He loves the show but doesn't get why there's so much sex on the show. When I ask him what he's watching he'll say " my pornos" meaning Spartacus. I'm like, honey that's very mild compared to actual porn. :lol:

aaah True Blood.

I think Lafayette is my favorite character too, he IS a great actor.

but Eric is smokin smokin hot, in a bad boy vampire kinda way. Franklin was good, and I dont know but I just dont like that actress they cast for Crystal. same with Lorena. I'm glad she is gone.

I didnt read the books but my sister read them all so she fills me in (so yeah, I know what sookie is but I have a feeling its gonna come out on the show really soon.)
