I recently got engaged to my girlfriend who lives in Australia.

I'm just starting out getting all the documents together to submit the I-129f petition.

I'm a bit concerned that I will make a mistake somewhere along the way and the visa will be denied.

Has anybody followed the guide outlined on this site? Any success?

Thanks in advance!!!

John

I would follow the guide. Thousands of happy members can't be wrong.....

Although be sure to be careful if you have a unique situation that a general guide would not apply to.

Read the guides, study the guides some more. Read the instructions for each form carefully, I-129F and G-325a. Then read the question on the form three times. If you still are not certain, then you should post that question in this forum.

Good luck.

Hi John - Im the Australian fiancee of a Texan :) and we filed the K1 visa. I'm at the final stage of the process (awaiting the interview date notification). I followed the guides and sample forms and when I got stuck asked questions in the Australian forums where others have gone before me - and if I got this far they must be pretty good lol
