Case Number Back on Check

Bank account shows that they just have cashed the check for K1. So which number is actually our case number since there are many numbers on the back of the check?. And none of them started with EAC?. I file the case in Vermont so they said it should be started with EAC.

Please help. Just can't wait until get the NOA1 hardcopy. Thanks.

I read somewhere they were not doing this on the back of checks any more, but I can't verify this. My canceled check, from back in April, did have EAC followed by a 10-digit number. This EAC number was the last of 4 lines that started with "For Credit to U.S. Treasury." It was the same EAC number later printed on my NOA1.

Ours did not have our case number on the back of the check. Since they started going through Texas first, many have stated the case number is no longer stamped there. However, it did not take long at all to receive the NOA1 in the mail.
