Hello all my August filing friends!

Just got back from my vacation last night to find my NOA1 waiting patiently for me in my mailbox. What a lovely thing to come home to! :) Now I finally feel like part of the group because I have my number and I can finally start obsessively checking my status! woo hoo! But now of course, the really hard part begins. Waiting, waiting, waiting.

I just noticed something. I am sponsoring kid from Kenya since he was 5yr. Now he is 12....nice kid..I hear he is doing great in school.

Don't worry, some of us have only been touched once and others have been touched already multiple times. In reality touches don't mean really anything at all, and while checking your status online obsessively is fun, sometimes they don't even update them accurately. I've heard of lots of people who've gotten their NOA2 and moved on to NVC and their consulates but when they log in to USCIS their case status is still listed as "in review". So I really wouldn't worry too much about it! Though for the sake of your sanity, I'll cross my fingers for you that your case gets touched soon! :luv:

Thanks Amy. I am so happy to come across this site. It comforts me to know there are other couples taking the same journey. Silly me, I just realized in my NOA1, USCIS missed my middle name and my country of birth is unknown. Do you think I should let it go or contact USCIS to amend them? My fiance think is okay but I am worried.

As for any errors on your NOA1, I would call and have them fix it. Or at least see if it's important enough to fix.

My beneficiary's middle name is not listed either and also her country is unknown. I know country unknown is common and didn't think middle name was a big deal....It has her first and last name. Hmm, might have to look into this further... :) Tell me what you find out prettysunshine.
