Can our son attend my wife's bio appointment.

Hi,

My wife has her bio appointment on Monday in Cincinnati. We have an 11 month old son, but are unable to find a baby sitter for the length of time we will be gone. Will he be allowed to enter during my wife's bio appointment?

I am pretty sure that he will. There were a lot of women with babies where I went (NYC). My husband was even allowed to come inside as well. I don't think it will be a problem.

I am not familiar with the Cincinnati ASC center, but my wife and I were allowed into the wating area in tne Chicago area ASC center when our friend went for biometrics. I was even allowed into the USCIS local office waiting room when they went for her AOS interview. They took the husband's daughter with them into the AOS interview.

I am sure your child will be let in.

I took my son with me.. they actually kept him busy while i got my prints taken.

At our local service center they didn't allow children into the ASC center, just as a point of reference.

In Atlanta they don't allow anyone in but the person with the appointment and their translator, if necessary. My husband was just there yesterday.

Thanks to all the experiences. Just to confirm, if our ASC does not allow our son to enter, do I need to enter with my wife for her biometrics or can she go in alone while I stay with our son?

Hi,

You don't need to go with your wife to her Biometrics appointment. She can go alone while you stay with your son.
