Hi everyone,

today, i signed in the uscis website to see my status.

In my portfolio, in the column "last updated", the date changed. It s now July 28th of 2010.

Does it mean that i m gonna get my NOA2 soon, or does it just mean that my case has just been "touched"?

Cause really, then when i check my case status, i m still on "Initial review"....

Thanks for your answers!

It seems like you've been 'touched'

"touching" doesn't mean very much. Some get many touches before approval, some get none. It simply means that someone has handled your petition and swiped the bar code. Now I hope it has been moved to an adjudicator's desk and not moved for one filing cabinet to another.

Hopefully you're approval is on the way

Good luck

i can say this. that is a good sign that you were touched but it could be a while or it could be soon. yours is april 15th so i don't know what happened to all the petitions before you then so don't know what to take from it.

the april filer was approved because they were expedited. yes if she changed her address that could be the reason why you were touched. hopefully not and you are the first approval. but mopre than likely it is because of that.
