tracking I-129f petition?

so i have sent off my petition and it was recieved on the 15th of july!

i know its still very early on, and it will most likely be a while until i recieve the 1st approval.

i wasnt able to send a personal check, so i cant check it that way. i had to send a money order.

but i have heard stories of people not even recieving anything in the mail (a 1st approval)......only recieving there 2nd approval like 3-4 months down the road....

any advice?

also, how many days after they have recieved it can i contact the Cal. Serv. center?

yep you can check your case on the USCIS website

and then set it to email you for update notifications or text you! good luck

You can call the Customer service number on the back of your money order receipt, enter your money order number and they will tell you if it has been cashed or not.

You do not need to contact the Cal Service Center, you can check your status at https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do by entering the case number you receive on NOA1.

I phone the USCIS and they told me that we have to wait 30 days from the date of sending the file to calling back and checking on the status of the file. We sent ours on 6 july to CSC and still have not received anything. Good luck and keep us posted.

I would keep calling to check if the money order has been cashed. If it has you should be able to call the CSC and get a receipt number, or wait until you receive it in the mail, most people do receive the notice. After you get the receipt number you can track on their website. Good Luck!!

We received NOA1 by text/email on July 21st 2017 and there was a receipt number provided to track the case with. however, its now 3 days later and we're still unable to track the case online or on the app using our receipt number...has anyone else had this issue?
