Originals or Copies?

When we send our package to the Chicago lockbox should we send original birth certificate and marriage certificate or do we send photocopies?

You can request to get them back at the interview.

You need to send originals or certified copies to NVC ( not a photocopy).

Very true! USCIS not only does fetch our money, but our age (youthful age) as well :-) :-) :-)

i sent originals for everything at every location.

We mistakenly sent originals with the I-130 and did not receive them back at the interview, even though we requested that they do so. However, we did receive the originals we sent to NVC back at the interview. Fortunately, we had more than one wedding certificate!
