The DS-230 forms and required civil documents apply ONLY to the applicant. So, you only submit a divorce decree for the applicant. NOT the petitioner.

If the petitioner was divorced, the divorce decree (record) should have been sent in when the petitioner submitted the I-130 packet.

Do I need to send the divorce record for the Petitioner with the DS-230?

When your SO goes for their interview at the embassy, they WILL ask for the petitioner's divorce papers there. So, no don't send it to the NVC BUT definitely give it to your SO or make sure you have it with you if you attend the interview with them!

Was not aware of that one, I sent mine with the I-130 so I figured it would get to the embassy when NVC sends everyting over. Hummm original or copy will do?
