Silly question though. What rules a family applies to its members are one thing. It has nothing to do with the government making decision FOR people. What rules a person or family decides for itself has nothing to do with the rest of us being forced to follow the same rules.

for those that say they don't have a problem with it, that it is merely her choice, are you going to tell your friends and relatives as proudly as you would say she is an engineer or would her professional suddenly be a matter of privacy.

i say, if you can't tell your family and friends but you say it wouldn't bother you, you are lying to yourself about accepting it so easily.

Silly question though.

i was thinking "dumb question" though.

Why wouldn't we? If it's a legal job the only difference would be my daughter could afford to put me in a home while yours was still trying to pay for school.

no one said your mythical daughter was hot and no one said she was going to be a top dollar hooker who invested her profits in stocks. i guess, make your mythical daughter whatever you like, however my mythical daughter who wants to be a hooker isn't so savvy and she also smokes cigarettes and she just bought a BMW.

Another silly question. What does it matter? Again, it is a personal choice and applies to oneself or one's family. I mean, we tell our sons that they WILL go to school and get a Master's degree (minimum) and that they will NOT get married before they finish. We do not ask them, we do not suggest, we TELL them this is how it will be in our family and I do not give a good GD about any other family or what they do. So far I am 2 for 4 with one in entering his 4th year and one more to go. What can I do if they tell me to stuff it? Nothing really, they are over 18 and can do what they want...on their own dime, of course.

But I do not expect the government to pass a law requiring ALL people to get a master's degree or wait until age 22 to get married. I would be against that because it is not a choice. My sons have desires to go into different careers, and have entered different careers. I do not judge one better than the other. If they are happy in thier life, that is what is important to me.

If my children came to me and said they were Gay, would I still love them? Of course. If my daughter came to me and said she would be a legal prostitute, would I still love her? Of course. These are just completely illogical questions that prove that liberals are not pro choice.

My mythical daughter will have a masters degree in Business Management and run a chain of brothels in various exotic locations and have a better personal jet than Al Gore to fly between them. I bet you will love your daughter as much as I would love mine.

just outta curiosity, what caused mc to ####### up the title of this thread so badly?

I've never really noticed objections about prostitution coming from men. It always tends to be the ladies for some reason.

I've known quite a few prostitutes and being hot doesn't = making a lot of money. Like most other things in life, it helps, but ambition and drive go a long way.

guess your mythical daughter won't be buying you a house then, hot or not. :)

Competition. The basic emotional drives are different. Females want the best sperm, and the best provider (not always the same person).

Males want to spread their sperm in as many locations as possible.

It's the difference between spraying bullets, and one shot one kill.

She could if she was good at her job. Some of the girls I've known are "rich" by their country's standards and many do pay their family's way through life. Buying mom and dad a house back home is no big deal at all for some of these girls. Hell, it may only take them a few weeks to do so.

Males want to spread their sperm in as many locations as possible.

Which is even more weird since most women who are jealous of prostitutes have already secured their benefactor either through offspring or a good attorney.

It's the difference between spraying bullets, and one shot one kill.

Not necessarily.

Bullets being sprayed are usually still for only one or two targets there's just a whole lot more bullets used. What men try to do is shoot as many targets dead as they can. Women, on the other hand, are satisfied with one or two targets, provided they're held at gunpoint.
