AOS Marriage Based Interview In San Antonio, Texas

I will add my timeline tomorrow after I get home from work. I just wanted to add my experience with the AOS marriage based interview. Our appointment was at 1:00 p.m. but we arrived at 12. After checking in with security, we were seated in the lobby. About 12:40, they called my wife's name and we went in for our interview. Our IO swore use in and asked us general questions like, "where we met," questions about my wife background (was curious where she picked up English since she speaks it fluently without much of an accent), and basic relationship question. The IO then took her I-94 out of the passport and placed a stamp in there. The IO explained that she would receive her GC in the mail within 5 weeks and about removing the temporary status 90 days from its expiration. Walking out of the building knowing we were approved was such a great and emotional feeling; THANK YOU JESUS! We could not have done this without Him and the help we found on VJ. This is such a great website! I wish you all the best of luck and offer my prayers for those who still have their interview to go. As long as your marriage is based on love and you have the documentation that they require, there is nothing to worry about. The IO was wonderful and talked to us more as a friend instead of an interviewer. Have a great week and may God continually bless you and your family always and forever!
