I actually slept LATE! That was cool. Last night I finally for the first time in months actually relaxed. My mind stopped its endless grinding and worrying and the anxiety attacks dissolved. Mohammed is sick with fever so his call was short and he went home to sleep (enshaa Allah) so that gave me an evening of nothing to do. I went out and got really ooey gooeyy fast food (yippee!) and rented some movies. Then I came home, put on my jammies (lol) and snuggled up with my burritto supreme and "V for Vendetta" and had my own little slumber party. I had a blast.

THAT MOVIE ROCKS. I really enjoyed it. I love the way they take an ugly reality and turn it into entertainment. Ha ha. (I would so love to comment on the theme of that movie but for very obvious reasons I'll just NOT.)

Anyway, I went to bed, slept like a corpse and woke up feeling pretty good. Wow I needed that.

I will say I'm worried about Mohammed. The whole "fingerprint thing" really messed him up and he made himself sick. He says it's from the fan (pfft) but I know better. It's happened before when he gets really freaked out. His body eventually crashes and on comes the fever. I hope he was able to finally sleep too. I don't think he's been sleeping much at all.

So far today has consisted of making the bed , pouring a cup of coffee and coming here. What are you guys up to?

Made the bed and poured coffee. That is what I have accomplised too! Glad you had a restful night. Soon this will be over for you and you will be sharing that morning coffee with your man. It is a daily pleasure for me to have this with my Mohammed. Well, come to think of it, going to sleep next to him is pretty cool too! We both work long hours (him longer than me) and we usually only have moring and evening together.

Saturday, what is on my agenda today? I have to measure 2 houses in the afternoon. Think I will just enjoy being home in the morning.

Hope you all have a great Saturday.

Jackie

and I'm still thinking about what Jackie said about the web cams....heh heh.....Happy Saturday to Everyone !

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Hi all,

17 years ago today was the saddest day of my life... My dad had a sudden heart attack and passed away... I wasn't home... I was at my best friend’s house... :crying:

I can't believe 17 years has past... I miss him so much.... I know he would have liked my fiancé a lot. The first time I saw my SO he said something that my dad always used to say... bittersweet... I wish both were here now... :(

MMMM sharing a cup of coffee with ur man on a lazy saturday morning IS THE BEST. love it, love it, love it.

in other news, people are starting to *hear* from my employer that did a painting of his property. Yay! so other than part time work, I can start commissioning again (something I really didnt have the network to do since moving from CT). Here is the painting he requested I do:

edited to scale it down....

This is the one I made for him, and it is completed. he just bought another horse, so with my silliness, i cut out a photo of him riding it and taped it to the painting ... he cracked up. Unfortunately a photo of the painting does not show the detail. Its not exactly watercolor, its gouache, but for all intensive purposes, it is like watercolor.
