what is the file number that it is asking for at the top of the form? is it our case number?

oh and also when you fill out the first form how in the world do you fill out the other 3 on the computer? cuz it wont let me..... can i handwrite the other 3 forms??? would that be ok?

I am talking about the G325A form... my fiance filled in the first page, but when he printed the pages only the first page was filled in....

what does the file number mean at the top of the page? is it the same as case number?

and can you fill the other 3 pages by hand if on the computer the other 3 wont automaticaally fill out?

It sounds like he is filling it out directly within adobe acrobat. That's not the way to do it. He needs to access the file directly on the USCIS web site and fill it out online. when he is done there it will printout all four copies.

i believe u leave the file number blank if filing this 4 k-1 purposes, but m not 100% on that, u may want 2 verify with others. as far as printing again....does ur fiance hav the latest version of adobe and the newest version of the 325a? i hav 325a downloaded on my puter and when i type on page 1 all other pages automatically fill in and print filled out. good luck

You need to have the latest version of Acrobat, because even when you open that link from above, you're still filling it out in acrobat, I believe. The same thing happened to my fiance, and we were at a cyber cafe so couldn't really download new programs. We just wrote it out by hand which was kind of a pain in the butt, but you gotta do what you gott a do!

The file number starting with A is the alien number file. If you, Julie, have that number, then you fill it in.

we had to download adobe 7.0.8 in order for it to copy automatically onto all 4 pages. it will give you the option when you open the document. make sure and do an 'open with' not just double click on the document, else it may simply open in 'preview'

The A number is the Alien Registration Number assigned to immigrants or those on J visas. If either the US petitioner or the foreign beneficiary has ever been assigned such, then this number should be entered on their respective G-325A. If never been assigned one, you put 'None'. During this process the beneficiary will be assigned such a number.

You can find a trial version of Acrobat Pro in the link in my signature which will enable you to auto complete the G-325A.
