Is that what USCIS told that person? That doesn't sound right to me. Anyway, for the most part, you can disregard the timelines from the past that aren't complete because usually it's just that the person never came back and updated it.

Didn't sound right to me either, but I just re-read it and it's worse - check back in 6 months after March RFE. Something is wrong there, either on USCIS' part or in what they understood from the USCIS call.

It's on the "Waiting for NOA2" topic in this forum. Definitely a case for Congressional involvement at this point, I would think...

I think that calling USCIS is completely useless: all the times I did so, the operator either had no idea of what I was talking about or said I had to wait.

Just think that once I needed to ask whether my AMERICAN fiancee had to fill in a certain form, and the operator kept asking me over and over again on what visa she entered the US...

Hi! Apparently, CSC has gotten slower this time, as compared to their progress for January-March filers. I got my NOA1 on May 4, and my USCIS account says that our case hasn't been touched since May 6! It's 72 days today. I've finally stopped comparing my timeline to those who got theirs really early on (like, less than the average of 67 days!), and did two things: lowered my expectations to 100 days (many got theirs after 100 days even without RFEs) and became friends with people like me who are stuck without any touches and case updates (made me feel I'm not alone after all). It'll come to us! :-)

You're gonna be wasting your time calling now. You still have sometime to wait most likely. It took us about 90 days from noa1-noa2 and I know ppl that filed before us waited 5-6 months in some cases. My advice, get everything you need together for your interview from what I understand Morocco is not one of the easiest embassies to deal with. Practice possible questions get pics and send snail mail letters, etc more things to paint a picture of a committed, loving relationship. Not to mention once you get your noa2 you still have to clear NVC and the embassy their may or may not be additional administrative processing at both stages, not to mention you still have to wait for the embassy to give you an appointment date which may/may not come after a few weeks to a couple of months after the embassy receives your package. Be patient, be prepared with the documents the embassy needs, practice filling them out. This is by no means a fast process and if you do happen to fly through it you are very lucky.

Best of luck. hang in there!

The dates provided in this forum, only represent averages for visa-journey members. USCIS website says 5 months so you might not get any response from them and they might just tell you to wait. What I recommend doing to get something going is to write to your congressman to intervene in the process. Once they receive the letter from your congressman i can almost assure you they will look at your file

Thanks for all the great advice. Patience it seems will be the best advice here for me.

Now here are some questions that seem to be hanging over my head lately regarding paperwork that I will be needing.

TAX RETURNS:

Since 1998, I have only worked part-time in my daughter's school as a substitute teacher. The last job was in 2008, and I helped out a friend in his bakery that he opened and it only lasted about 8 months and this was just a part time job to keep me from being bored. So really, I do not have any tax transcripts, we filed married and he carried me and my daughter as dependents since he made all the money. So what am I suppose to show if they ask for tax stuff? Divorce was in 2009.

Along with all the other forms needed, I will be filing the I864 (for assets purpose as well) since I am still currently finishing up my last few classes in a CNA program and i am not employed at the moment. ( No co-sponsor needed) 401K plan and savings is by far enough even after penalties.

After reading some thoughts here, some say get your paperwork started. I have pre-planned and have been sending any extra (phone records, skype records of calls nightly, chat logs, etc). LOL over 200 hours of skype calls was extracted since January 2010 this is not including the last year I previously sent with I129, we like to talk I guess.

However back to the subject now..............

I have two cars paid off. I heard you can use one of the cars for an asset. I went to the Kelley Blue Book and found the value. Is this what I print out and attach with I864?

So what else can yall think of that I can get started, the 401K is to soon to print off and ask for statement because it's in the stock market and the value of the dollar changes daily.

Do I need to explain in a letter as well regarding my no tax return since I didn't work?

I do receive child support of $1225.00 month for my daughter, I can use this as income but it only started in January 2010 so of course there is no TAX RETURN for this too.

Any advice is appreciated .....
