I just had my Adjustment of Status and want to work here in the US but I don't know what to do. I'm a teacher for 19 years back in the Philippines. What will I do first? Where will I go to have my credentials evaluated? Please help!

Google "ECE" Follow the instructions. Very easy to do.

Yes, I used to teach in Canada and I can't apply for a college teaching job here until I get my credentials evaluated. I am doing it with ECE http://www.ece.org/ They say that it takes about 15 business days to get it back, but they are back logged so it will take about 5 weeks now. I wish I did the rush service, I would have had it by now. Good luck, let us know how you do

Don't have your credentials evaluated by ANYONE until you have talked to your state's Office of Education and found out from THEM which specific credential evaluation companies they prefer. There are at least 7-8 different companies and different organizations have different preferences. Don't waste your money getting one your State Office may not accept.
