ohh really!NVC will be scheduling upto July 16th,thats a great news!I hope we will all get our dates by July 16!!!you got your SIF on 4th and I got my SIF on 8th so lets see what happens!update me if you get to hear anything new from NVC :)

Feb.4, 2011 Mailed AOS packet

Feb. 7, 2011 Pkt delivered in Chicago

Feb. 10, 2011 Received txt and email of NOA for AOS, EAD, and AP

Feb. 11, 2011 Check cashed for AOS

Feb. 12, 2011 Touched

Feb. 14, 2011 received hard copy of NOA for AOS, EAD& AP

Feb. 18, 2011 received appt letter for biometrics

Feb. 28, 2011 biometrics appt @10am

Feb. 28, 2011 received txt/email AOS case transferred to csc

Mar 1, 2011 AOS Touched

Mar 3, 2011 received hard copy of AOS transfer to csc

Mar 4, 2011 AOS Touched

Mar 28, 2011 Received txt/email saying card production has been ordered. (1month 3eeks 3days)

Nigeria is famous for being a slow embassy interview wise. They tend to do a lot of in country investigation. I would expect you to get an interview for Sept or Nov.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

hello all,i got the most popular case complete on 1st of july and SIF 4th of july,can i still be schedule for august interview?since nvc will end interview schedules by 16th of july

what is SIF?

SIF/LIF means you can't log onto the payment portal. Usually means your case is complete and you can confirm with NVC via operator as well.

January 5/2010 - Petition Sent

January 12 - NOA1 Hard Copy

March 15 - Email I-130 Approved

NVC Journey:

March 20 - Mail NOA2 HardCopy

March 20 - NVC Case Number assigned

March 23 - Got NVC Case Number and gave emails

March 25 - Got AOS Bill / DS-3032

March 27 - Emailed DS-3032

March 27 - Paid AOS Bill

March 31 - AOS Bill shows PAID

March 31 - DS-3032 sent by email accepted

April 07 - Paid IV Bill

April 09 - IV Bill shows PAID

April 09 - Sent AOS package via USPS

April 12 - AOS package Delivered and signed by N. Visa Center

April 13 - Sent DS-230 package via USPS

April 14 - DS-230 package Delivered and signed by N. Visa Center

April 16 - N. Visa Center received all documents

April 23 - LIF!!! Sweeet!!! Thank You Bhagvan / inşallah =)

May 18 - Interview date assigned June 22 @ 8:30 am. Thank you Bhagvan again / inşallah =)

June 04 - Wife went for medical and got it done

June 22 - Wife's interview (Missing Bank statement) =(

June 25 - Sent Bank letter to wife

June 29 - Wife got the bank letter and sent it to embassy

July 07 - Wife got visa in hand!! Thank You Bhagvan / inşallah =)

Aug 02 - Wife's POE!!! (Excited) =)

Aug 02 - Picked up my wife at 8:45 pm (Super happy to be with her again) =)

Aug 02/2010 - Lifting of Conditions

Congrats Damilola! There is certainly a possibility for an interview although Nigeria is a bit slow.

The interview @ Lagos is between 3-4 months after they got your case. You are looking at October...

Our Traditional Introduction (i couldn't go)- 04-21-09

Visit her in Nigeria & she got pregnant-- 07-06-2009

Web NOA 1- 01-06-2010

Visit her in Nigeria --- 01-12-2010
