does your mom make a sausage gravy or just a white peppery one?

I wish my mom was a good cook. When she makes stuff I usually push it around the plate to make it look like I ate some. When she makes sausage gravy it tastes like flour :dead: She usually leaves the cooking to me. Even when we have family gatherings she calls to ask me what she's bringing  I've tried to teach her to cook, but she's more of a throw everything in and hope it tastes good. If it doesn't taste good she feeds it to my stepdad and then comes over to eat dinner with me.

My grandma can cook! Sometimes I feel bad because she apologizes because the food isn't "fancy" like the things I cook. I always tell her it doesn't matter because home cooked stuff always tastes the best!

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

If your Mom didn't teach you to love to cook and to the art of cooking, where do you think you got this from? Its obvious you're a natural cook who loves to cook, but did someone help you to discover this love? Or, did you learn it on your own?

I think it was from my grandma. Some of my earliest memories are of me peeking up at the top of the counter and watching her make things. As I got bigger she let me sit up there and help her mix, stir, beat, crack eggs, and measure. She always made things from scratch and used things she grew in the garden.

I only hold hands after a total bedroom wrecking and swinging on the chandelier ripped to shreds underwear crashing onto the floor bouncing off the walls session (or two).

It's important they prove they are not a teaser before I am willing to hold hands

It's the way men think.... birds of course want gratitude and lovey dovey before they do anything - that's like getting paid at the start of the year

Ugh. I passed out on the couch at 8.45pm, woke up an hour ago and now can't get back to sleep.

Date three tonight! More wholesome, G-rated family fun. We might even hold hands this time if I feel we're ready to take it to the next level. :innocent:

Skimming this, I thought you said something about G-strings. blush.gif And not the kind on a guitar.

Well, I NEVER Alan. I am NOT that sort of girl and I have NO idea where you got the idea that I was some sort of floozy who would allow her underwear to be ripped. I am wholesome and winsome and awesome and then some. Hmph.

AGAIN -- where is this reputation coming from? In that thread I started some time back, I made it very clear I prefer bikinis, boyshorts and hiphuggers when it comes to knickers. G-string? :dead:

Does it make me a bad person that there is someone in the UK that I hope NEVER gets a visa?
