hi everyone,

we had our NOA2 notification approval email on the 25th June. we also had the email informing us that our case has been sent to NVC and another letter that said out paperwork is forwarded to the embassy. packet 3 has also reached the fiancee today.

however, we still have not received the NOA2 hardcopy in the mailbox yet.

should we be concerned, or is there anything we can do?

thanks for any help given.

Hmm I don't think it would be any concern but you can call and make sure that they have the correct mailing address on you just in case. Did you ever get a hard copy of the NOA1?

If you do not get it within 30 days of the email notice, then get hold of the USCIS. You WILL need it. They will at first try to get you to PAY for a copy. Continue speaking to supervisors until you get to the person with a functioning brain. May take a while. OR contact your US Senator or Congressman,, they can fix it up quickly. Contact USCIS first.

do you reckon we should contact uscis immediately or wait another week or so to see if it will arrive in the mail? will this disrupt our k1 process? thanks for the advice.

We just went through this ourselves. They make you wait the 30 days, so calling will be a waste of time. On the 30th day call. As said above they will try to make you pay $340 for another one. And yes, speak to supervisors. Do not hang up until they agree to an appeal. They will say that they will look it over for 2 - 5 days & get back to you. They said that to us at 6PM on a Fri. & by 11AM on the Sat. we got a email & text saying that they reviewed our request & as "a courtesy" they will send us another one. We got it by the Wed. Good luck!
