Help my VJ family..I'm worried:(

All the documents,forms and Evidences I will need for my interview are already settled.But I have one concern that bother's me and my darling , the employment record of my fiance that i have is not updated its jan 2010. We used this on our daughter's CRBA. He want to send me a new one but he's not sure if his boss will be around this week and if he will be able to send it in time of the interview.My interview will be on the 12th. The good news is tomorrow he will send through FEDEX his recent 3 months pay stubs,his income tax returns and w2's from 2004 - 2009.of course including the affidavit of support.

will this be a problem during my interview coz the letter of employment I have is dated 2010?

Usually an employer has a #2 person who is authorized to sign on behalf of the company.

If I were in your shoes, it would bother me too. Why take any chances? There must be someone at his company who can provide a basic employment letter. He can scan it and email it to you.

Agree with Tahoma, I just had a colleague sign it.. It's not like they are going to call them.. Just have him provide a letter on the company letterhead and I think you'll be fine.

A 2010 employment letter, with resent paystubs, and the past years tax returns tell the financial story quite nice. I sent a copy of my employment letter, with my K1 package, and have used that same dated letter for all subsequent interviews & Filings including our just completed AOS. The letter is good, but the proof is in current paystubs & latest tax returns. As mentioned before they really do not have a easy way to check if a employment letter is authentic, but if your getting paid that's key proof.

My darling really knows how to surprised me.. He went directly to his boss for the sign for his employment letter.. ..He was able to FEDEX the affidavit of support, Tax transcripts and w2's 2004-2009, recent 3 months pay stub,plus the letter of employment..

But one more things,do the affidavit have to be notarize?He didn't notarize it but a lot of people here telling me conflicting things.Some say it have to be some says NO need!

Affadavit of Support ? NO ! Anyone who tells you the I-134, Affadavit of Support, needs to be notarized is going off of their own experience from about 3 - 4 years ago, when it WAS needed to be notarized. Since then, the new version, does not require it, at all. The USC's signature is sufficient - have you studied the signature block ? Mondo Huge Legal Wording there - is worth yer time to study it.
