July 2010 Filers

Sent the wife's ROC packet today so there is a chance we may make the July filers. With as slow as our USPS has been the past few months I estimate it will not arrive until Tuesday. Most likely, I will be starting an August filers topic.

I tend to agree with you, but you have a 50:50 percent chance to be July tailender.

Thanks Jamericanlove and luckymom. I am somewhat surprised to get my bio, frankly wasn't expecting. There are 4 filers ahead of me. There is a good chance that some out these 4 too may have got it and maybe will report today or tomorrow. But all in all is good news, thanks again.

The thing with biometrics appointments is that they're not given out in the order the applications are received since we all go to different ACS's to get them done. Your support center is probably not as busy as some of the others so you got an appointment quickly. Here's hoping we are all so lucky!

Hi Edp333. Please let us know when your package gets delivered so we'll know to add you to July list or not. I'm guessing that with a whole week left in the month you'll be in the group. :yes:

Your support center is probably not as busy as some of the others so you got an appointment quickly. Here's hoping we are all so lucky!

I too hope and wish the same. Most of us, including myself concoct theories. Like mine is that if petitioner belongs to a ASC which is busy, they too would be issued bio letter maybe a later appointment. Frankly, I have no clue how the process goes but this seems to be the logical route IMHO.

My husband (who's my petitioner) also live in the area so while I'm reading some of the posts it seems that MAYBE I will be lucky as you. Not a problem luckymom, my ASC is Philadelphia. I am deciding to walk-in next week. Hey luckmom you know we are taking a family vacation at Newport next month.

Hi everyone!!! I need some advice here... We sent I-751 and it was received on 07/10 and we still didn't get the NOA1 and worst... Check wasn't even cashed!!! I am freaking out right now! My GC an my son's expires 08/02 and my husband and I just realized that we didn't send a copy of the back of the GCs... Do you guys think that would be enough for them to send the package back? If so, why is it taking so song for the package to get here? I don't think we can call USCIS because we don't have a case number... What should I do? Infopass???

That is strange. It's been 2 weeks and nothing. I would give it another couple days to see if it comes back in the mail or if the check is cashed. Until the check is cashed you have no way of knowing if the ball is rolling and most likely they wouldn't have the application in the system so an infopass wouldn't help much. You could probably try to do one or calling to inquire just in case. If you're thinking about doing it, I wouldn't resend an application until you are sure they didn't process that one.

Other people have sent packages without the green card copies and they've been processed so I don't know that that would cause a major problem. Hopefully someone else who has been through this can give you some more advice.

I will take following listed actions, without wasting anytime.

1 Start an inquiry with USPS for non delivery, unless proof of delivery is in hand. I expect the package went with “signature confirmation”

2 Check with the local post office if they have missed delivering mail from USCIS and request them to check if they are holding any incorrect address packet from USCIS. Just a chance that USCIS didn’t put correct address.

3 Express mail another copy of petition with fresh check. The cover letter would carry details of unacknowledged petition along with copy of proof of delivery.

4 Will try for info pass appointment before the expiry of GC. Will request them to check in their system if nothing is available. Will ask for supervisor and seek his advice as to what he/she thinks should be done. I will carry proof of delivery.
