Aos interview

I am have my AOS interview on monday 28/6/10 at 9:30 am, am 8mths 1wk pregnant am having contarctions and lots of nightmeres about the whole process, I am also worried about us not having a bank account together or that he did not add me to his tax when he field in march, reason being I did not have a SSN and I recently receive my EAD to go and apply for one. Will this be a problem? my hubby said he will just explain to them the reason for these two comingling missing also we have only been married 10 months. They also ask me to carry custody letter for my two kids that my hubby petition for in jamaica, why would they ask for that?

Helpme, try to relax - You aren't going to do yourself or the baby any good to stress over it. Can you reschedule your interview? Get a note from your doctor, you have a valid medical reason!

I would not stress so much about not having the bank account, etc... - you have solid proof of your relationship in your womb!

Thank you sus, my dr did give one to me today just incase I give birth this week, as he said my daughters head is very low in the bith canal and it seems she has no intention of waiting on her due date on the 7/16. As for the kids my hubby had only sent in one set of paper work ie affidavit, mg certificate and all the other stuff that needed to be sent with the 3 i130s and the i485 however they seperate the kids i130 send them to another lockbox in Chicago and then transfer them to California, but he did count them in the affidavit of support as part of our household when he did the head total. Their dad did express the letter to me today from JA so I do have it to show to them.

Thanks for your response and i will let everyone know if I have the baby or if I made to the interview and how it went. My hubby been saying the same thing you said to me "stop or am going to put myself into labour by monday, and then he will be blame for the reschdule" lol I blame him for everthing these days .hormons

FYI - having a child isn't "solid proof of relationship". Would be if people weren't getting pregnant out of wedlock in today's society. Anyone can have kids, doesn't mean they're in love.. just means they had sex.

OP - I'm not putting you down here but I do agree with the PP to relax. Why haven't you been added to a bank account? You don't need an SSN for that in most cases. There are many other things to prove a relationship. Your name on bills (phone, electricity, water), on the home lease, Wills, proof of him paying for your expenses (say credit card bill or whatever), being on his health insurance.. all sorts of things.

Everything will be okay and congrats on having a baby soon! it's a wonderful thing. Focus on the baby and starting your family life together. YOU know your relationship is real so you have nothing to stress about. Your behaviour and demeanour in the interview is also noted. Just remember that you love your husband and show that. Don't be afraid to show it (but no graphic displays of affection ) Best of luck to both of you

:blush:Hi Vanessa, thank you for your reply as for bills and all the other stuff we do have those, as for the account, his bank is chase and they do not do accounts without SSN so that is the only reason I am not on their and he is also changing his account to another bank soon since his company sold out is planning on using another bank for salry disbusement. We have also discussed doing another account with Bank of america as family and trust fund for the kids college tuition, so he said when I have the baby and is ok to move around we can get to it since am the one who does the book keeping in the house anyways.

He is head over heels about our daugter coming he keep asking me are u feeling the contractions any worse, do you think I should call work and tell them I am not coming in (he works at night). I said go to work I will call you if I need you lol. As for the whole graphic affection my hubby is very shy so I doubt he would do that

Bills and all the other stuff is fine. Sounds like you have a very supportive man and that's what matters. Just stay happy. It's very exiting. You could give birth very soon. Lets just hope it's either before or after the interview.. and not during

I saw you were scheduled to attend your interview yesterday, just wondering if you went how did it go. How are you feeling with a new baby shortly to arrive, I hope they didn't stress you out too much yesterday if you did go for your interview. If you did attend your interview, I hope it didn't push you in to an early birth, good luck

Well if it does happen during the interview, it will show the officer the genuine care and love they have for each other, but lets pray that it doesn't happen that way. If you stress more the baby will come soon, I know that one too well. My daughter came at 29-30 weeks and I believe it was due to stress. Take care and the best .

:dance:Well Sasha, I like that comment, I am also pleased to inform everyone that my AOS was approved and my status online says card production ordered I thank everyone for all the advice and baby is still in the oven, after the interview my hubby and I went to add things to our baby registry, him slinging the price gun me riding on a huveround cart " if thats how its spelt" and just making fun of all our friends who we know will not buy certain stuff (cheap).
