Two months and no interview letter

Hey guys!

May be I will sound inpatient and silly, but it has been 2 months since I did my biometrics. And I didn't receive an interview letter.

I'm worrying and don't know what to think. I keep driving my husband nuts but he says 6 months are not over yet. As I know usually people get IL during one month, that's why I'm so stressed.

Is it a bad sign? Anybody had to wait that long? :(

This sucks, Alla. Have you made an Infopass? Good luck, I hope your IL shows up today.

I think you need to be patient, you have no reason to worry about your case. An infopass would be a waste of time, your case is NOT out of the normal processing times. Your spouse is right, you should worry if 6 months pass and you don't hear anything. Good luck!

Alla I think you should call the Customer Service number and ask them to "resend the interview notice".

I dont think theres a point in waiting for interview letter, esp if it has been two months since biometrics.

Now the 6 months waiting happens only after the interview.

If you applied and didnt receive your NOAs, would u wait for 6 months?

If you applied and didnt receive your biometrics, would u wait for 6 months?

If you applied and didnt receive your interview letter, would u wait for 6 months?

Just call and see if the interview letter has been sent or not. If it has, and if you didnt receive it, ask them to resend it.

If you dont show up to your interview, your case will be denied.

I called the 1-800 number and the representative (as usual) was very useless. I asked her about interview letter and whether it was sent. And she couldn't access that info. She just read everything from their website. My husband scheduled an infopass for July 1st in Atlanta. Then we will know at least what they are working on and not be worrying that it got lost somewhere. Because I'm going coo-coo...

Is there any particular reason why the I-485 and I-765 would be touched after the biometrics and not the I-130?? Is there some particular order that seems like they touch applications? Our I-48 and I-765 were touched the day after the biometrics, but not once touch on the I-130 since the NOA.

Other question. Is there any reason why our application would have been sent to the NBC. We sent to the Chicago Lock box as instructed and it was forwarded to the NBC. Should I be worried or is this normal?

Thanks

Biometrics provided fingerprints and picture for I-765 and background check for I-485. There is no biometrics for I-130.

It is normal.
